Wicklow Rapeseed Oil

Keith Symes is a third generation farmer based in the heart of the Garden of Ireland. He produces culinary oils, extracted from oil seed rape, all grown and harvested on his land. Keith’s products are Wicklow Rapeseed Oil (500ml) and Wicklow Rapeseed Oil with garlic (250ml).

Hawthorn Lane produce delicious homemade chutneys, jams and sauces from local fruit, vegetables and wild foods.

The Northern Shores

The Northern Shores is a craft bakery stall, serving Swedish treats at farmers markets in Wicklow.

Inspired by Scandinavian traditions, the Northern Shores sells delicious home baked treats from their stall at Macreddin’s monthly country market (near Aughrim).

Products include cakes, cookies, and buns. For example, Classic Caramel Squares, Swedish Vanilla Hearts, Traditional Swedish Cracker Bread, as well as interesting combinations like chocolate brownies made using real liquorice.

The Northern Shores also create and sell Swedish homeware and crafts from their website.

Julie’s Jam and Relishes

Julie Meneses creates homemade jams and relishes in Kilcoole.

Her delicious products range includes Raspberry Jam, Mixed Berry Jam, Marmalade, Onion Relish, Tomato Relish, and Pizza Sauce.

Julie’s kitchen is HSE approved and she uses local produce wherever possible.

Julie’s Jams and Relishes can be found at Koole Company (Kilcoole), Killruddery’s weekly farmers market and Greystones art, photography and crafters exhibition every Sunday.

Orders by phone or email are also taken.

East Hill Farm

Alun Owens is a certified organic grower, based in Newtownmountkennnedy.

His hillside farm produces lots of delicious vegetables for delivery and sale around the county and into Dublin.

East Hill Farm’s healthy fields and polytunnels help Alun grow potatoes, mixed salad leaves, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, peas and beans – among other things.

Alun runs a box scheme and can be found selling at North Wicklow Country Market, every Saturday morning in Newcastle.

 

Daisy Cottage Farm

Daisy Cottage Farm is a small family run artisan bakery nestled in the Wicklow mountains, producing a range of delicious breads and cakes.
The farm produces much of its own ingredients, including scallions, chives, rosemary, and tomatoes.  Daisy Cottage Farm also produce traditional churned butter made using cream from a small herd of Jersey cows.

Cathy’s Spelt for Health

Cathy Whitty developed her range of baking products after discovering an allergy to wheat. Feeling the need to bake for her family, Cathy’s breads and bread mixes proved so popular that she now employs several people to make and market them, both in Ireland and internationally.

The range includes Multiseed, Wholemeal, White Scone, Tomato & Herb and Flapjack mixes.

Kilmullen Farm

Eamon and his family sell delicious lamb, direct from their farm in Newcastle.

Kilmullen Farm also produces apples and their fresh Apple Juice comes highly recommended.
